I added André Pipa 112 months ago as friend and today we both are still active on Flickr. He's a joyful person enjoying life to the max with his family, friends and travels. Busy as Journalist and TV commentator, he still find time to photograph. His photos are not about perfection but about finding limits of himself. I think his photography is about the beauty of imperfection. Dreams are good. But Living is just as important. The limits or no limits of André are shown is his stream, all photo's full of life. That's what life is about. It is a pleasure knowing you. A Pro Photographer who gives people the chance to look through his camera and see the world, for what we see is what we are ;-) P.S. Pude ver pelos seus olhos um mundo de intenso colorido e largos horizontes, um mundo feito para trocas, um mundo fácil para se viver, onde habita a beleza e a sensibilidade. Um mundo feito de luz, que o André capta, rapta e nos traz nas suas imagens... Querido André, você para mim significa alegria e generosidade, e eu sinto as suas descobertas pelo mundo como aquelas que faz uma criança ao descobrir cada nova paisagem ou objeto... Sinto o seu olhar em busca do belo e do inusitado, inquieto e perpicaz, na procura talvez inconsciente de suprir sua alma das belezas deste nosso vasto mundo. Suas fotos são carregadas de poesia e de humanidade. Vão dos mares bravios ao retrato de alguém, sempre com uma mensagem de boas expectativas implícitas, sempre trazendo o lado positivo das coisas. O ano de 2007 me deu a imensa alegria de conhecê-lo. More than anyone else I know of FLICKr, Andre brings the world to life. His travel pictures, and of course, his pictures of Lisbon, are rich in detail, color, light and composition. His portraits are compassionate and human, his scenery vibrant, warm and alive. His architecture is brilliantly framed and perfectly detailed, and his seascapes simply make me want to pack my bags and head to the nearest airport!! In fact, no one on FLICKr will cost me more than Andre in the next couple of years, as his stunning photos inspire me to visit missing gems such as New Zealand, Cuba, and Portugal, and to revisit, and maybe really see for the first time, places he has documented so brilliantly, such as Morocco and India.
