You sense, you act by just pure instinct. How you act is a matter of a funny relationship between circumstances and self. Society deprives us of this simple and essential agonistic principle. Thus rarely do we have the opportunity to be driven by instinct alone. To some extent photography reassesses this relationship between the instinctual and the educated. Is this my explanation for why I like it? … I don’t know.
