Have traveled the world, love taking pictures. I've lived in Portugal for 6 years, Switzerland, Argentina, Guyana, Jamaica and several cities in the USA. Moved to Florida about six months ago and discovered all the beautiful birds, have been spending hours out each day trying to capture them. The variety and quantiity of flora and fauna in this state astounds me, each day is a new adventure! Just starting out, working with a Canon 7D, preferred lens is a 70 -200 2.8 Canon CPS just replaced one of my lenses a 100-400 IS with a brand new one, so most of my recent shots are with that lens. Using Adobe Lightroom but a true novice in that area, post processing is still a learning process for me. Admire everyones work that I have been seeing, hoping to improve with each set of shots, right now focusing on time in the field to study the routines and habitats of the birds. I know I post a lot of pictures, I'm new to the hobby and excited - I promise to slow down in a few months :-)

Thanks to everyone for their comments and encouragement!
