Appassionato di fotografia fin da studente, quando un insegnante di scuola media ci fece un corso di camera oscura un pò al di fuori dei normali programmi scolastici: io rimasi letteralmente affascinato da queste tecniche apparentemente magiche e montai una rudimentale camera oscura in cantina. La mia prima fotocamera fu una vecchia Zenit russa che aveva acquistato mio padre ma che non usava mai. La fotografia rappresenta la mia visione del mondo, è una sorta di esplorazione interiore attraverso la visione esteriore !
