I'm an author and, it turns out, a cemetery lover. It all started after the first trip to a small cemetery in northern Chile – that is, my fascination for cemeteries and the need to include them as continuous threads in my novels. Initially it was the fascination with South American cemetery culture and now I'm also haunted (not literally) by the treasures that are these stories. They sit patiently inside every ordinary tomb waiting to be discovered... or not.
