Sappletonmonica is a 54 year old married woman from Washington DC, USA.

I am a piano teacher with a master degree in piano pedagogy. I am also the founder and director of the school called Piano Adventure School of music, which conducts a music and arts enrichment summer camp annually. It is in this camp that I find the time to write down my thoughts, when the teachers and campers are brainstorming for ideas during poetry time. I am passionate about teaching, but tend to be impatient with students who are lazy about practicing. My hobbies include reading, creative writing, poetry, painting, and snorkling. I live in Hyattsville maryland with my husband, and 2 of my children out of a total of 5. I also have 6 grandsons and 1 grand daughter.
