It was a small, white bird with a black head and a tail twice as long as its body! As it flew past me, I felt that a little angel had fluttered through the sky. Its tail was so long it looked like someone had attached white ribbons to its body. I was amazed at its shape and watching it fly. I shuffled through my unused bird book and found its name, the Asian Paradise Flycatcher. I looked around that page to see illustrations of even more prettier and elusive birds that are found in India. It ignited something in me. I was 6 at that time. After that trip, I hungered for the magic of the birding world. All my vacations became birding expeditions, to the disappointment of my sister who wanted to do other, more “normal” things. Soon, my love for birds included wildlife and the day my father put a DSLR in my hands, life has been awesome! I have observed and photographed tigers in Ranthambhore, crocodiles in Corbett, and birds all over India. And now I share this passion of mine with you all through this website, enjoy!
