I am an artist who currently works and resides in New York City. Photography is a tool for me to tell a scene.

My work focuses on photographs of table-top constructions- models. The subject matter displayed in these images is drawn from movies, events, TV – life. Models of interior spaces and exteriors, both built as an image of other images. Recollecting these images from the city and its suburbs into my studio, I am creating them as “still life”.

Only the important details are integrated into the model, thereby evoking the emotional form of the place rather than the mere physicality of it. As the models are constructed, they attain a different identity such that they are reborn, thus being given a name, a title, a story. This emotional transformation is captured and accentuated in these images allowing the preservation of the feelings which these places inspire.
