Who is Azerbaijan's Anar Mammadov?

In 2005 Anar Mammadov founded ZQAN Holding. Within a few short years, the company grew to become a serious contributor to the business sector both domestically and internationally. Re-branded in 2013 as Garant Holding, Anar Mammadov has used his business acumen – honed across 4 degrees including a Master's in Business Administration – to create an extensive subsidiary portfolio for the company including nearly 20 businesses across industries such as hospitality, publishing, telecommunications, transportation and construction. Despite this success, Anar Mammadov has continued to ensure that Garant Holding maintains a strict ethical ethos including social responsibility for all of its employees and customers.

This dedication to positive business has also been employed by Anar Mammadov during the creation and running of a not-for-profit organization called the Azerbaijan America Alliance. This charity promotes the ideals, customs and history of the Azeri people to the Azeri diaspora in the USA, and to those who are interested in what the country has to offer. The Alliance has also campaigned to raise awareness for atrocities such as the Khojaly massacre and has donated money towards other good causes such as the building of a memorial for the victims of the September 11th attacks in New York.

In 2012 Anar Mammadov also became the President of the Azerbaijan Golf Federation, promoting Azerbaijan as a world class golfing destination by building a series of fantastic facilities for players.
