Kinds of Photography I like: B/W, Landscape, Macros, Reflections, Candid. Of late: HDR, and Light Painting.
My Camera: Sony DSC-H2. 12x optical zoom. Image stabilized. Carl Zeiss lens (or so they claim). 6MP. [ -ve: Would've been content with 5MP. And the 2.5" LCD of the previous model. 2 AA batteries prolong the flash recycle times, wouldn't mind 4, even if it make the camera heavier]

My Ideal Camera (for now, subject to change without notice :-)): 5MP, FF sensor, Fixed lens (don't have to worry about changing lenses, and the accompanying dust issues), Live preview, Image Stabilization, 3" LCD, Stitch Assist (Canon). Zoom ring, maybe a Focus ring too. Some of my choices will make it clear I am still an amatuer. I hate pixel stuffing, I don't care for movie mode.

My Hardware: Thinkpad T43p, Intel PM 2GHz. 2Gig mem. 15" screen. Sometimes hook up to a 21" external monitor. But have been disappointed with both. Researching monitor calibration now.
My Work Flow:
Download: directly connect the camera to the PC, more faster than the card-readers I've tried. Maybe it is the USB2. Use Picasa to directly 'import' all photos to an album. Delete unwanted ones later.
Post Processing: I only do some minor corrections, so am content with Picasa for now. Also like how it is able to post photos to PicasaWeb, and Email after resizing them on-the-fly.
Upload: Upload all public photos to Flickr, and private ones to Picasaweb. Upload only 1024x768 sizes to Flickr by email. Picasa tops out on that size. For 1280x1024, I use Windows Photo Gallery (part of Vista). I just found out it trims the Exif info, does not upload all of them. Also changes the date to date of resize (how lame can Microsoft programmer be)
