I work in graphic design in University College Dublin. Originally from the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking district) in Donegal, I've lived in Dublin city for over twenty years.

I'm a keen amateur photographer, with a great deal still to learn.

In 2012, wishing to properly explore the magic of chemistry and to work at a more thoughtful pace, I bought a Pentax 67II medium format camera. I use it for my documentary photography and love the look and sharpness of black and white images on film. It's a different world.

I've just acquired an Olympus XA2 35mm camera and look forward to using it.

My main interest is in documentary photography, especially the changing landscape of west Donegal.

I have also produced illustrations and animation.
