We are the AmeriCorps Urban Safety Program (AMUS) run through Wayne State University's Center for Urban Studies, located in Midtown Detroit. We develop partnerships with community groups and residents to improve levels of neighborhood guardianship, reduce victim attractiveness and susceptibility, and provide residents with tools and resources to decrease crime within their communities.
