Several years ago I was satisfied with my point and shoot cameras. However, recent trips to exotic locations has made me realize the limitations of these cameras.

With the help of my brother I am right into SLR photography now. l use an Nikon F5 for film shots and, up until recently a Nikon D50 for digital. I now shoot with a D700 and, occasionally, the Olympus EP-1

The combination of higher ISO capabilites of the D700 and usage with faster lenses has really helped.
