I'm a mother to two daughters. We live close to Lake Michigan, which keeps us cool in the summer and warm in the winter! I love to knit and since my daughter, Emily, learned how to knit in 2007, I've had a renewed interest in the craft. On Ravelry, my nickname is dawnk777.

My Canon Powershot S3 IS died, and we were still mulling over our options for buying a new camera, when my parents decided they had a camera they really weren't using, so they gave it to me. My new-to-me camera is a Canon Powershot SX30 IS. It takes better pictures, than my old camera did.

My daughter, Sarah, also has a flickr account. She is known as radiant star.
