My name is John and my dog is Lilly...I am fascinated with American history, in particular with events surrounding the Civil War. I love to visit Civil War historical sites and attend seminars and tours. I have an ancestor that was in the North Carolina 12th Infantry Regiment that survived the war. I am trying to track his movements with that regiment during the war...I also am a pilot and love aviation history.
