A Research Co-ordinator/ Advisor by profession, an environmentalist, passionate about travelling and photography......but still I would categorise myself as a beginner.......so here I am to test my skills. I joined Flickr in September 2007, I have been working on table tops initially during the winter, but nothing outstanding! I am mainly interested in Landscapes, Wildlife, Nature and Abstract photography.

Working on projects such as urbanisation and environment, human intervention and its impact on biodiversity, globalisation and the limits of natural resources, Socio-economics and gender bias in developing countries, outreach and education in developing countries, Fairtrade - involving farmers and handicraftsmen, organic farming and its promotion in a world where genetic engineering has poisoned our food. The list goes on and on.....

I have not learnt photography previously, it just comes out of my passion for Wildlife and Nature, I have to stress this because many contacts have started asking me if I have learnt it before. I actually learn from the internet, from my contacts, from the comments you give me.....so I guess I'm improving as my pictures are getting attention these days!!
