I was born and raised in southern California. My family is from Finland. Ami Maija or just Ami, is what my family calls me, Finnish for Anne Marie. My second cousin Jukka Kuoppamaki a famous musician in Finland.

I have 2 wonderful sons, I live with my husband of 45 years..

My hobbies are my garden vegetables and flowers. I also love photography, reading, and making slideshows and making video's. I started in Photography with a digital camera years ago. I was helping out with our church newsletter etc. It evolved from there. I learn a lot from flickr.....the people are great....I love the process of constantly improving your craft. Flickr is like being in a club, without having to leave your home
