I am an amateur photographer who has a passion for sport, and Motorsport in particular.

I have been interested in photography since I was a kid, when my parents bought me a Kodak Ektralite for my birthday. I had many a happy day taking snaps with that baby.

I am a huge fan of Flickr which has opened my imagination and re-energized my passion for photography.

I am excited to have progressed to a Fujifilm HS10, and I hope to take some great pictures on my travels.

In 2010 I jointly won an Art Competition run by Lotus Racing with this picture, which was selected by Heikki Kovalainen as being his favourite entry!

My win was then followed up by Sidepodcast with this wonderful article.

I was immensely proud and honoured to have won such a prestigious award.

Another award came my way in June 2013, after my photograph of the Rebellion LMP1 was selected as a twitter background design winner in a FIA WEC Competition. This was to coincide with the big weekend of the Le Mans 24 Heures. I received my prize from the FIA WEC Media team, which can be seen here www.flickr.com/photos/amiafad/11130197786/

Again, I feel honoured and very proud of my achievement.
