When I was in high school, I fancied myself a photographer because I took photos for the yearbook and I had a (film) SLR. A few years later, and my camera of choice was a digital point and shoot - one that I could cart around in my purse. But after drooling over the dSLRs, my husband finally bought me one and I haven't looked back! Not exactly purse-friendly though. I'd still like to fancy myself as a photographer, but then, as now, I have a long way to go and a lot to learn.
