Americanvirus is Jonas Seaman (aka Jonas Marlowe).

I like to draw pictures,

take photos,

and make little movies.

I started posting these little experiments in July of 2008.

Since then, my work been invited to be on exhibit as art installations:

at The Gasteig Cultural Museum in Munich Germany (Dec. 2008 - Feb. 2009),

as part of the Lange Nacht der Musik ("Long Night Of Music") Festival in Munich, Germany (May 2009),

as part of the Copper Building's 'Video Wall' sponsored by flux.net/ in downtown Los Angeles, California USA (running indefinitely as of June 2009),

at the ZooArt International Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Cuneo, Italy (July 2009).

In December of 2009 I was approached by Getty Images to become one of their contributing photographers.

and In January of 2010 I was signed by Getty to license my photos for commercial use through Flickr.

My photos have been published in ad campaigns, books, and Seattle Sound Magazine.
