Your attention please:
Though I often donate my images to people and agencies working to help conserve environment and human rights, please do not use them without permission. I have worked my way up in life the hard way and will appreciate being contacted with any queries on licensing.
About me:
I'm in the Communications & Marketing sector currently working for a reputed realty brand in India as its Digital Marketing Head. When I travel, both on and off work, I document nature with my lenses and pen.
My subjects:
My images are reflections of my treks, walks and travels through Canada and my motherland India. Many of them are from my journeys in the heart of some of earth's most spectacular wilderness- the Appalachians of Canada, Western Ghats and Himalayas of India, to name a few. I picked up this journey in early 80s from the heroes of our wilderness, both sung and unsung. A journey so many of us have gone through. A journey that will be continued by the unknown lovers of nature, for as long as the flowers bloom and the birds sing.
Throughout this journey, I have met some wonderful human beings, both offline and online. I have seen people rise above human-made boundaries and mental barriers to exchange their view with me. People from whom I have learnt a lot, people whom I respect a lot.
My published work:
> Winner, Greenpeace Canada 'Your vision of Canada' contest 2004. Winning pic used in Greenpeace Canada's 2004 desktop calendar.
> India's mainstream print media including Times of India, Deccan Herald, The Indian Express, The Hindu, Sanctuary Asia - Call of the Wild.
> Cover Page picture of Birdlife International's "Birds of Asia - A guide to Civil Governments of Asia"
> Government Tourism Departments' publications.
