Her "The Little Red Tent" blog is a great source of Sierra info. And, as I found out this year, if you want to photograph Horsetail Falls she is the resident expert. Heck, if you are lucky she may even be waiting there in the snow with a hot cup of coffee for you! :-)

It seems no matter what she tries to do, she puts an incredible amount of passion into what she does--and she knows if she's not willing to put that passion into it, she's just not into it. That's a degree of self-honesty with which I struggle, and something I do not often see in many other people.
