A world weary traveller, now settled down for the duration. I've been taking photographs for over 60 years starting out with a second-hand Box Brownie camera, In1970 I bought a Canon AE-1 and shot many of these photos with this camera.I now have a Konica -Minolta digital compact, and a Fujifilm S2980 bridge camera, I have also recommissioned my Canon EOS 1000 F film camera as I find 35 mm negative scans have a little extra quality over digital.

My favorite subjects are children and looking back thro my archives this is borne out by the

preponderance of them appearing in my efforts. Unfortunately taking candid pictures of children in the UK is fraught with problems, and is nigh on impossible today.

The current crop of photos in my photostream consist mainly of 35mm negative scans - many over 30 years old consequently some have suffered due to poor storage - please bear this in mind if you want to comment on quality.

Photography is an amazing pursuit and I am so glad so many people are prepared to share their work here in Flickr.
