Felicia Violi PHOTOGRAPHY

I'm an amateur photographer in the deepest sense of this word, which comes from latin and means “someone who LOVES doing something a lot”. I do LOVE photography.

I became keen on photography slowly and unconsciously. Probably it was a natural way out for me, considering my passion for travelling and stories.

I still remember my first camera, a compact Kodak bought in Spain when digital photography was still science fiction. Then an Olympus and then the first digital Sony Mavica working with a floppy disk.

But my first love was the Canon EOS 33 bought in Dubai airport in 2003. Since then my initially kind of “souvenir shots” became a real passion and I started looking at photography as a different way to discover reality.

After that I used a Canon Power Shot SX110 IS bought in the US in 2009 and now I'm using my last jewel, a Canon EOS 500D.

In 2005 I discovered Flickr and in those last years I grew up a lot as a photographer thanks to the great people I had the chance to meet here, both professionals and amateurs like me.

Their tips and advices that made the quality of my shots improving a lot, and I’m very grateful for that!

Photograhy is my way to tell my stories and my personal point of view on life and on world.

Prima di tutto, grazie per aver visitato il mio profilo e il mio photostream.

Sono diventata una appassionata di fotografia lentamente ed inconsapevolmente. Probabilmente uno sbocco quasi naturale per una appassionata di viaggi e di storie come me. Ricordo la prima macchina Kodak compatta comprata in Spagna a Tarragona, quando il digitale era ancora fantascienza. Poi una Olympus e poi una Sony digitale col floppy disk e poi il primo amore, una Canon EOS 33 comprata all'aeroporto di Dubai nel 2003. Da li in poi gli scatti ricordo si son pian piano trasformati in passione.Ho usato una Canon Power Shot SX110 IS comprata negli USA nel 2009 e da un mesetto ormai ho il mio nuovo gioellino, una CAnon EOS 500D.

Nel 2005 ho scoperto Flickr e in questi anni sono cresciuta qui grazie anche ai bravissimi fotografi che ho avuto la possibilità di incontrare su questo sito, sia professionisti sia amatori, e ai tanti consigli e suggerimenti che mi hanno consentito di migliorare tantissimo la qualità dei miei scatti.

La fotografia è il mio modo per raccontare le mie storie e il mio punto di vista sulla vita e sul mondo.
