Photographer, human ecologist, and teacher exploring connection through camera movement. I share work, inspiration, and workshops to help others see the world differently.

Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) became my focus during a period of illness, evolving into a wider practice that combines breath and biomechanics from my previous life in healthcare, initially to help me move the camera when I was too ill to make big movements with the camera.... now evolved into the practice I call Embodied Intentional Camera Movement and more widely into Embodied Photography - capturing the world with all the senses.

Now, in wellness, I share this approach through ICM and multiple exposures, creating images that convey the experience of being truly with the world. For me, photography is a multi-sensory experience brought to life in each frame.

I love to share on youtube @thephotographicartisan.

My book Intentional Camera Movement Demystified is on Amazon now, it's my two years of immersing myself in the practice to unravel it with a researchers lens, the book I wish I'd had.
