I am a voracious book worm, a gadget geek, and a big fan of social networking. Currently, I am teaching myself how to take better photos, both when the camera is in hand and afterwards in the post processing stage- I'm not always successful. I write when I'm avoiding things like housework or personal issues. I like gardening, of the flowering kind, but the mosquitoes chew on me so badly I don't do it nearly as much as I'd like to. My love for gardening and photography often overlap. Flowers make such easy subjects. I've also initiated a great book club that is 2 years old and still going strong. I'm also involved in a cooking club that has brought great joy in my life by turning the word 'Family' into the word 'Friends'. Ultimately, I like learning new things: about myself, the world I live in, and the people I share it with.
