Drag to set position!
Art has always been a part of my life. Ironically, photography has not! As a matter of fact, I did not become interested in this field until March of 2007. I literally woke up that day and decided it was something I wanted to try. I had a few dollars in the bank and invested in a Canon Digital Rebel xti and a 50mm f1.8 lens. Funny thing at the time I had no clue at all what f1.8 even meant.
With my new camera in hand, I dove head first into the internet learning everything I could about aperture, focusing, rule of thirds, depth of field...etc. The one skill I already had down to an art was Photoshop. With my newfound knowledge of photography combined with my photoshop skills I began my quest to be a creative photographer. Throughout this time I have discovered that taking portraits of people is my passion! Another funny thing, I've never considered myself a "people person" until now...well at least when I'm behind the lens!
Even though I've had a late start in life finding my calling, I hope to progress as a photographer and possibly experience my fifteen minutes!
