ABOUT ME
A few years ago, I suffered two panic attacks in less than a week that took me to the hospital on both occasions, until then my ailments, suspicions, somatizations, and fears that I have had since I was a child had a name, anxiety.
During the isolation of the pandemic, my anxiety worsened as well as my periods of depression and it was until almost a year after the pandemic that photography came into my life in an attempt to heal my mental health and explore an artistic side I had never allowed.
I am an environmental engineer with a master's degree in environmental health and that has always been my life, the exact thing, science, but photography has been my emotional therapy for almost two years, it has allowed me to feel free, explore my creativity, feel emotions that I had not experienced, accept my anxiety and stay calm to be a better version of me.
My incursion into photography is recent, my first camera was a Canon M50 and I like called it "my baby" because it is tiny and allows me to take it everywhere, I am delighted with the portability and lightness of the mirrorless cameras. At this moment I enjoy photographing everything that awakes my attention and find the atypical side, meanwhile I take inspiration and I can see the direction my photography is taking, and just as said Henri Cartier-Bresson "Your 10,000 photographs are your worst" currently I am working to reach my 10,001 photos.
