I have had a passion for photography since my dad taught me to use his SLR as a child. Switching to a DSLR has really allowed me to improve as it gives instant feedback and I can edit my photos online rather than in a darkroom (which I was never very good at).

I love to take photos of everything, but I especially love landscape and cityscape photography. I also love to photograph animals. I have to remind myself to take pictures of people every once in awhile. I tend to be most inspired to photograph when traveling, so most of my photos on Flickr are from vacations I've taken. However, working on a 52 weeks project has challenged me to try out different things and forced me to pick up my camera at least once a week, rather than letting it collect dust while not traveling.
