Forty something male living in North Lincolnshire, England. I've been playing with decent quality cameras (Canon 10D and 40D so far), for about five years now, taking photos of stuff that interests me such as railways, landscapes and buildings and life in general.

I'm not a great fan of Photoshop - it has it's uses for tidying things up and the occaisional bit of playing around but you won't find any HDR photos here, (the best way I've seen for turning average photos into bad photos...).

I am a fan of natural, journalistic photography and good composition; my taste is for photographs that honestly capture instantaneous moments in time, not post-processed mini artworks.

As of August 2010 I'm upto almost 40,000 views so thank you to all who've looked and commented on my collection - I hope you have seen something you like.
