I've been doing this since October 2007. I started of with a D40X and now I have a D300. I didn't realize how fun it is taking nonsensical pictures. Anyways if anyone has tips let me know, I'd rather hear it than read it.....
I do urban/street/outdoor portraits and landscapes. I prefer doing shoots outdoors cause it's more fun for me and i don't have to worry about lighting as much. Basically I just take pics of stuff that I think looks cool. The sun is my lighting source so don't ask me to take pictures indoors cause I'll be lost haha.. Just use the sun, it's the best lighting source all year long I tell yah! The awesome thing about having a digital is that you can always erase and shoot another one. Photography has been an awesome hobby for me:)
My weapon: Nikon D300 w/battery grip
My ammo: Nikkor VR18-200 w/ hoya filters, Nikon SB-600 w/diffuser
My reinforcer: Nikon CaptureNX software

Flickr is very addicting! haha.... my goal is to put up a new picture everyday until my Nikon D300.... So yeah, check my page out daily. laters everyone...

Okay! This is my second time typing up a testimonial about Alvin. The first testimonial was denied due to its explicit contents for readers/ fans/ photographers out there. Well, I knew Alvin for many years and we didn't hang out for a very long period of time due to paths we took to further on our educational needs. One day, I was going through his myspace page and he had a link to his flickr account. I checked it out and was instantly interested in learning how he took these amazing pictures. I contacted him and he help me pick out essential photography equipments to enable me to enhance my creative state of mind in photography. First day, he tried to teach was completely useless until the second day he really went in-depth with information on apertures, f-stops, and etc. He also brought his cousin to be our model. In conclusion, thanks AL. Photography have given me a new hobby to relieve stress and take up something that can show my artistic point of view. Aloha, Rcoronel1
