Most of my photos are taken in the Lezíria, a vast wetland that extends from the eastern bank of the River Tagus, starting about 20 Kms from Lisbon. As the photos show, the Lezíria, as well as being home to a huge diversity of wildlife, is an important destination for many species of migratory birds. Some species spend the autumn and winter there, while others make a short stopover on the way to Africa. This is my site dedicated to wildlife photography, especially birds. All the photographs are of wild animals and illustrate their natural behavior, although, because these are agricultural fields, there is some habituation to human presence.
