I am an opera singer and photographer living and freelancing in NYC. My husband is also an opera singer. Thankfully, we have Italian neighbors who sometimes sing along with us (we can hear them through the walls).

I love doing headshot photography-- especially opera singers. Opera is a very conservative/traditional field, that is going through a lot of marketing changes of late due to the new prevalence of HD broadcasts. It's been such fun helping people to market themselves with their headshots.

I also enjoy knitting/crocheting ridiculous things (nothing practical) like squid, sushi, owls and such. I frequently blog about it. Occasionally I will produce something functional like a blanket.
