I'm Tyler and living in a Northern suburb of Dallas, TX.

Somehow, I've worked my way from my small(er) hometown in N Central Okla all the way down here.

 

I use a Kodak Z1275 and though it's definitely no DSLR it takes some photos that I and others enjoy (and has manual settings to boot!)

Music: mostly indie rock or symphony though I enjoy just about anything with style and taste

Flying Preferably when I'm the pilot

Animals Pretty much all of them!

Volunteering I work with tutoring kids, disaster relief/preparedness and sustainability/conservative.

Museums, Historical Sites, Art Galleries and etc Yeah, I'm a HUGE nerd

Electronics, Gadgets & Computery things its what I do for a living and has been a fascination since I was about 5yrs old

Chasing Storms That's what happens when you grow up in Oklahoma! : D

 

Photography History:

I've enjoyed being behind the camera, literally as long as I can remember (explains why there's not many photos of me, since I was a teenager).

My mom is a stalking snapshotter turned scarpbooking queen, chronicling our family and life. She wore off on me when I realized over time people tend to say I have 'an eye' . From there it just developed into a habit/hobby...

 

I've been a Flickr member for a few years, but within the last month or so, I cleared my dormant account and started over. I'll eventually find and post older digital and non-digi shots. So, it's going to take some time.

 

Photography Interests:

Weather / sky: Inherent from growing up in Okla with volatile weather and most shots are from Northern Oklahoma and a few from TX. I don't have much up with this, because a lot of my old storm-chasing photos are non-digital.

 

My family I don't have kids of my own but there are plenty of people in our two large families! I take photos of them whenever I have the opportunity. Often Candid portraits of the moment.

  

Events/Holidays:

This goes with 'family' because most holidays we're with some part of the family but I try to at least keep with the holiday theme!

  

Animals/Pets I'll confess that I'm a crazy animal lover (5 cats and 3 rats)

 

local Arboretum and other Gardens (new love) Most of the summer it's been too hot to be out photographing bugs on flowers but it's turned out to be worth it when I do...
