I'm always curious about what kind of cameras, lenses, etc. that other photographers use. And I really like it when photographers share their techniques, especially techniques that are specific to individual photographs. I try to do that sometimes, but I know that I don't do it often enough.

Although I've been experimenting lately with the iPhone 13 Pro Max, my current primary camera is a Nikon D750. The lens I use the most on it is the Nikon 28-300, but I also use the Nikon 50 mm f1.4 and the Nikon 85 mm f1.4. I try to use a tripod for most of my shooting (landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes) and in the past I've been pretty good about doing that, but more recently I've been using a monopod, simply because it's a lot more convenient, and I think my shots are still pretty steady.

I try to keep a compact camera around as much as possible. They're easy to carry, and the high quality ones are much more capable than a cell phone camera. I'm currently using the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100M7. It has been a lot of fun to shoot with! Many of my recent shots on Flickr were taken with it. It's my go-to camera when the D750 is too bulky.

In years past, I've used the Nikon D300, Olympus C-8080 Wide Zoom, and Sony Cyber-shot DSC-R1. The R1 takes excellent photos, has many useful features, and is simple to operate. In fact, it was my positive experience with the R1 that led me to try the RX100 and then later upgrade to the RX100M3, and then to the RX100M7 (which I almost destroyed by falling on it while shooting in Arizona).
