I have been taking pictures since I was six and got my first camera from my uncle. Today, I take my camera almost everywhere I'm traveling. Not that I have much time during those travels, but I'm trying ;-)

Having been a long time "railway-only" photographer, I now like to take pictures of landscapes and and plants (esp. macro).

Since 1998, I'm taking most of my pictures digitally. Starting with an Agfa iPhoto 780 (yes, 780 pixels horizontally!), I went through all the hazzles of the early days of digital photography (like calibration issues and print-outs). Today, I'm using mostly my Sony NEX-7 and the Fuji X-system. The newest addition to my gear is a Leica D-Lux 8 which does an excellent job in producing ready-to-use JPGs.
