Italy Chronicles Photos
Drag to set position!
40 something English language teacher, translator, blogger, etc who is learning to create images.
I run the italychronicles.com news/lifestyle blog which is all about Italy - the good, the bad and the ugly.
From the UK, but have been in Italy for many years, and I speak Italian quite well.
I love photography, which is quite possibly the best kind of hobby a technology nut like me can have.
Night/low light photography is a particular interest of mine. And I like the idea of both on and off-camera flash. I have a decent tripod, and when I have the time, I wander off to find things to shoot.
What do I use?
Cameras:
A Canon EOS 7d (was a 40d)
A Fujifilm X-100
A Samsung Ex1 - my go everywhere camera
Lenses
Canon f/1.4 50 (favorite lens)
A Tamron f/2.8 28-75 lens
A Tokina f/4.0 12-24 lens
A Canon f/4.0-5.6 70-300 IS USM lens
Gear
A Metz 58 Af1flash
A Canon 580ex11 flash
A Manfrotto tripod and head
UV and circular polarising filters

Number of years using a camera - many - but it is only from April 2007 that I started to learn and think more about photography.
