Hi, my name's Alan

I work as a sound engineer in my own recording studio and am an absolute novice when it comes to photography, often finding myself being controlled by the camera rather than the other way round!

Having only recently joined here, I am totally in awe of the photos presented by you flickr members on this truly amazing website and spend endless hours looking at your fabulous contributions (constantly muttering "now how on earth was that done"?).

Hopefully, with a bit of time (lots probably) I might actually find myself muttering "how on earth did I manage to do that?"... who knows.

In the meantime thanks for your inspiration!!
