Well this update is long overdue. I have traveled to China many times now, stayed in more cities than I mentioned here because there were several that I went thruough that I dont' remember.

 

I must say, that I only have good things to say about China. Many times strangers have gone out of their way to help me, give a ride, take me to a historical place and even invite me to their home for a meal not expecting anything in return. I could not even pay them, they would not accept it.

 

So it bothers me when I am back home in the USA and someone says something negative about China. Since so many Chinese have been so kind and good to me I will always say something good about China.

 

I have traveled to China multiple times and have stayed in the following cities; Hong Kong, Shen Zhen, Liu Zhou, Yang Shou, Chong Qing, Cheng Du, Kun Ming, DaLi, Li Jiang, BeiJing, Shang Hai, Yan Cheng and Xi'An. In addition, I had made day trips to Da Du kou, Ci Qi Kou (both in Chong Qing), Gui Lin and Wei Shang ( Wei Shang is about one hour over a mountain from DaLi.)

 

I also have visited the following cities in Japan; Nagoya, Osaka, Shin Osaka, Kyoto, Hida-Takayama, Naru, Hiroshima and Tokyo.

 

I might as well throw in a couple of trips to Canada too, which included the cities of Edmontin, Vancouver, Toronto, Niagra Falls, Niagra Falls on the Lake, Kingston and Gananaque.

Well, I just got back from another trip to China. This time I flew into BeiJing, Took a train to Zheng Zhou and from there either took a bus or train to the following cities or places; The Shao Lin Temple in the city of Deng Feng, The Long Men Grottos in the city of Luo Yang, The city of Kai Feng and the city of Gong Yi. I also spent quite a bit of time exploring Zheng Zhou.

 

Maybe someday I will catch up on posting all these pictures.

 

Well, I recently just got back from another China trip. This time for a month. Many cities I already visited before, so I will only mention the ones that I have not been to before. Those are DaZhou, BaZhong, EnYang, MianYang and AnYang. This year, 2009, I spent about six weeks in China.

 

April of 2010, add another week in China to the list. spent about five days in HanDan.

 

Another month in China, first week of July 2011 to first week of August 2011. This time to HuBei province. Cities I have not been to before include WuHan, JingZhou and YiChang.

 

Now for 2012, just over 5 weeks in China. Last part of June, all of July and the first few days of August. The cities I visited that I had not been to before are ZhaoZhuang, HangZhou, WuXi, NanJing, LianYunGang, ChangZhou and XiangYang.

 

I might as well update 2013 now. I am still in China, YiChang now, but I return to America in five days. Upon leaving I will have spent six weeks here in September and October. I now can say I have visited these cities too; QingDao, TianJin, ShenYang, DanDong, SuZhou and HeFei.

 

Let me add 7 weeks in 2014 too. Besides cities I have already been, I also visited JiaXing, WuZhen and JiNan.

 

I am at least a year behind on posting pics. I post a few here and there as I have time.

 

In 2015 I spent another 7 weeks in China. Cities I have not been to before on this trip include EnShi, XinXiang, LingBi and GuaLiang Village.

 

Okay, in 2016 I spent another 8 weeks in China. So now I can add HeBi and ChangSha to the list of cities I have stayed in.

 

And another 8 weeks in 2017, I made a day trip to Long Quan. It is about an hour by car from YiChang.

 

And another 8 weeks in 2018. So now I can add NanNing, PingXiang and PuZhai to the list of cities I have visited.

 

And another 8 weeks in 2019. So now I can add thte Jasmine Flower farms in Hengxian and the beach in Beihai to the list of places I have visited.

 

I didn't get to travel in 2020 because of the Covid19 virus. I found some old pics of Handan, China on my computer that I never processed. They are from over 10 years ago, so I processed and posted them. I have been posting some recent photos from the San Francisco Bay Area. . I am looking through my cell phone for old China pics and posting some of those pics too. Some are old and others are recent. My Huawei cell phone has a pretty decent camera.

 

2021 now and still not traveling internationally because of Covid. Still looking through my cell phone and posting some old pics that I thought I would never post. Also posting some pics from California. Kinda flip flopping between old cell pics of China and newer pics of California.

 

2023 I finally am traveling again. This time 8 weeks in China in the months of August and September.

I went to Shenzhen 深圳，Fucheng 府城， Guangxi Tiandong 田东， Mengzi 蒙自， Jianshui 建水， Mile 弥勒， Shilin 石林， Huili 会理， Ya An 雅安， Xi'An 西安， Wuxi 无锡 and Yichang 宜昌。

 

2024, this time I was in China for nine weeks and two days. I don't think I visited anywheree new this time. I went to Shenzhen, Xinxiang, Yichang, Wuxi and Xi'An.
