I live in a little village near Forres in Morayshire and have now retired. I've used a few cameras over the years starting with a Zenit E progressing to a canon AE1 then A1. When digital dawned, I entered with a Nikon D200 before going mirrorless with Panasonic GX7. Whilst working, time constraints derailed my hobby and then vision issues led to a loss of interest for a time. I've now been 'fixed' and following a fresh start with a Nikon Z6ii on which I found the focus lacking for moving subjects, I've upgraded to a Z8. I'm keen to try more genres than landscapes but who knows what I'll settle on - I'll probably be a 'jack of all' and 'master of none' as the saying goes - but I'll enjoy myself! The lovable little lad in my buddy icon is my grandson Callum who is now an apprentice Joiner!
