Allison is one of those enviable souls who, it seems, was simply born to make captivating images. I'm totally convinced that she could pick up anything - a Hasselblad H4, an Instamatic, a Brownie, a pinhole, a Fisher-Price Viewmaster - and come away with portraiture that was honest, original, glamorous, and, most of all, affecting. It would doubtless tell us everything we needed to know about the subject pictured, but in a way that was perfectly in line with how the subject wished to be represented and remembered. And we'd all be scratching our heads, going "how the $#%! did she do that?" I know I would. I have. Many times. Enough babbling. I am in love with this young artist's work and have been ever since I first discovered her here. She is one of those precious few whom, I can quite confidently and candidly assert, possesses the gift. I can hardly wait to see what she does with it next.

I don't have much experience with writing these so bare with me, Allison i have been a Flickr user for about a year and have seen your work progress and progress... With every picture from the very first one on your photostream to the last picture i have seen so much of your work,it's kinda ridiculous but back to the point. Everyday your surprise me and other Flickr users with your work whether its a picture with a horse in it to a picture with bus from NY you pretty much amaze me.. I have to say you have came so far from the last item on your photostream! My personal favorite of your self portrait is "red handed" by Allison Killa Photography- www.flickr.com/ph... I know i was talking to you Via Myspace and told you this would be up last night but sometimes people have to wait or good things, Not only saying this as a fellow photographer but as a very distant friend-you will go very far with your photography.
