I'm Alistair Morrow, a mid 50's male ex pharmacist with an interest in photography, motorsport and hot rods.

I used a Pentax K70 with a Tamron 17-50 f2.8, Tamron 80-200 f2.8 zoom, a Pentax 50mm f1.4, a Vivitar 105 f2.5. I collect screw mount Pentax cameras from the Asahiflex 11B, Asahi Pentax AP onwards. I upgraded my Pentax to the marvellous K1mark 11, which is truely wonderful, being a full frame K mount; lately have been using a Pentax 24mm on this. I used to go to rock concerts & I have used the superb low light Olympus Xz1 with its f1.8 lens. I'm moving onto a Canon G7x Mark 11 compact.

in 2019 I got diagnosed with The Neurologicol disease CADASIL (google it) which has decimated my lower limb mobility; & then in 2020 I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumours, a very slow developing form of Cancer. It is likely the CADASIL will see me out before the NETS does so. The 2 diseases are in no way related; I can no longer operate as a pharmacist sadly.

On occasion I have used a variety of other Pentax equipment especially my trusty Pentax Z1, and also a Fed 5c, a voigtlander Perkeo, a voigtlander Vitessa, an Agfa Isolette 3 , a Yashica GSN.

I belonged to a camera club and I've built a Pinholaroid (a kustomised Pinhole Polaroid camera) following the tutorials of czak142p on making a pinhole from a pack film polaroid, Thanks Michael

I also followed Rustmans excellent advice about using a Kodak Duaflex as a TTV (thru the Viewfinder) lens

Hey I won a gold medal at NZ's only salon of photography.

Open digital monochrome winner 2009. I have won various awards in Photography especially locally (Gilmore Brown Kaipara Community Art Awards Print Making & photography 1st Place 2013, 2014, Judges Merit Award 2016.
