I was born under the astrological sign of Leo in 1980. I had a wonderful childhood and adolescence growing up in the city of destiny Vizag (Visakhapatnam), India. At the present I am living in Wauconda, Illinois with my family.

 

My interest in photography began in 1998 when my dad gifted me with a film camera for my trip across various places in India with my friends. My interest turned into a dormant seed of passion which begun to sprout in 2005 when I got my first point and shoot digital camera.

 

2 years after that I ventured into the world of digital SLR photography by purchasing a Nikon D40x and have not regretted the change. I presently own three Nikkor lenses. Over the past 2 years I have carried all of my camera equipment while I travel.

 

I am drawn to shapes, colors, patterns of nature and landscapes. I find the solitude of nature to be a wonderful place to spend quality time, but find these places are becoming scarce. I have been enjoying shooting landscapes, nature and exploring portraiture and studio. With all the travel I've been doing I have ventured out into a few North America’s national parks more looking for the everyday scenes we so often overlook or a perspective we often never see.

 

Other interests and passions include travel, music, hiking, reading and finding a local coffee shop.

 

I have been posting images on the Internet since 2006 at here until I recently discovered the flickr wave. My previous photoblogs have provided a wonderful community of photographers, and I feel it has been a great classroom environment. My photography is constantly changing, hopefully for the better. I see flickr as an experiment to take another path, to view the world through others’ lenses, to discover more about world, the joy it will bring.
