I was born in '73, which is starting to make me feel rather old.

I'm a trainee Suburban Train Driver with CityRail, and I expect to graduate from that in November 2009. Whilst not the total buff, I have always had a bit of thing for trains, plus there are (were, they're now dead) railway men in my family history, so to that extent you could say it's in the blood!

I'm also a Captain in the NSW Rural Fire Service, (Seahampton Brigade). I've been volunteering since late 1991 and I love it. The comraderie, the lights & sirens, helping the community, it's all good fun.

Essentially I'm living every boys dream: driving trains & being a fireman!

I've always a background interest in photography, so I've finally taken the step of flickrising myself, and hopefully I'll learn more and develop my skills in the process.
