Alisa P. lives in Newport Beach, CA with her husband, two young sons, and Sophie the Pug. She works mainly in acrylics, gouache, and watercolor. She is strangely fascinated by mythology, symbolism, icons, and goddess imagery...which, more often than not, finds its way into her art.

In addition to her fine art and illustration work, Alisa has built a career as a muralist specializing in hand-painted murals, faux finishes, specialized furniture finishes, and color consultation. She has helped create amazing interior spaces all over California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, and Mexico.

Other chapters in her life have included being a school counselor, owning a gift shop, beating the odds against a critical illness, and exploring Central America and the Caribbean aboard a sailboat.
