Fiddling with photography from a young age, started with a Smena 8m, then got a Practika MTL 5B, a Canon IXUS (after one or two years of shooting with it, took more photos with my old Practika still), and now recently got my first DSLR, a Canon 350D.

 

The one who raised my interest in photography is my Grandpa (left in the picture with me),

 

 

a professional photographer (thanks Grandpa!). He gave me the Smena 8m as a present, I think I was around 12 or 13 years old.

 

Recently I tried out Grandpa's old Seagull TLR, I have already some shots here on flickr taken with it. Just found a method to "scan" the 6x6 negatives, Grzesiek got inspired by Leahcim's idea of "scanning" by shooting negatives on a light box and inverting them in Photoshop, and he came up with this wonderful solution.

 

I started developing BW films by myself and we are on the BW and TLR saga together with my photo-companion and very good friend Grzesiek.
