''I am an artist working predominantly in Ceramics, using the material to express my ideas and concepts. I am constantly exploring new techniques within this area, building my skills as an artist. I communicate my ideas not only in ceramics, but in a range of other media, including glass, drawing and photography. I work in a sculptural way, mixing the historic with the contemporary. Currently, my inspiration comes from paper-craft and origami. My work is often inspired by 3-dimensional forms that have been crafted from 2-dimensional objects. I tend to re-visit my work as inspiration for new ideas and progress these concepts to inspire new works.''
