I don't know Alice in person. I have never seen her face. But, through her photography, somehow I figure out what kind of person she is. Her vision of the world is beautiful, and it seems to me that she always appears with new ways of seeing what most people don't. Well, at least that's what my eyes see... If it was not enought, she is always supporting me with her valuable comments. I think she has no idea of how it makes me keep on going, trying to always capture what is and what is not there, even if art and technic lack.

I've not long discovered Alice 144's photography. The first picture I saw was the one taken from Portmerion looking through two arches. I've not long discovered Alice 144's photography. The first picture I saw was the one taken from Portmerion looking through two arches. Alice 144 has a lovely eye for composition, not only that but an ability to vary the compositional style and DOF for the subject, while maintaining a unity and integrity of style. Wether the picture is a landscape or one of a musician in a band the same integrity and feel is there. Thre is also a clean sense of composition, one is imediately aware of the sbject wether it is in a wider context or isolated and occupying most of the frame. The pictures are both eyecatching and can convey a sense of feeling and peace, a difficult combination of attributes to combine in photography. She also undrestands her camera and lens well and can use them to good effect.
