I used to develop and print photos from film taken on a Yashica J Rangefinder but found it difficult to gain access to a darkroom.

In the mid '00s I was introduced to digital starting with an HP PhotoSmart R707.

Many of my photos are taken with a Nikon Df and various manual focus lens; so besides themes each lens has an album. There are also Favourites and Galleries of pictures taken by other people that I admire.

For the last couple of years I have been housebound due to strokes. Margaret my wife has been taking photos for me in Raw format on a Nikon Df using a 50mm lens. I process them with RawTherapee and Gimp and they are tagged M.

In addition Margaret takes photos on her Fairphone which I work on using Gimp.
