One month on and Ali, who ive known for many years as both work colleague and friend was the first person to see me join flickr. She has been pushing ( encouraging ) me to join flickr for over a year. Ive been evasive as i felt i wouldnt match up to the superb quality. Her photos and Tims (Ali's husband) always gave me a thrill because they were scenes from my past in the North of England and Wales. She has such a keen eye for the wierd and wonderful and like me loves trees ! cats and old / rusting metals. She leads such a busy life with always a smile and never really moans. she sees good in so many people but doesnt suffer fools. She makes me smile , laugh out loud and cry sometimes and to me she is a very special person. She is one of the nursing fraternity and a damn good one at that. I hope to see her again one day as she has made my life better by being my friend. Luv ya, Mandy xxx
